December 2013 Newsletter

A look back on 2013

Much has taken place in our association in 2013. We have added two new churches in the SWBA with Hispanic Baptist Mission of Arcadia and Faith Community Baptist Church of Madison bringing us to a total of 22 churches. Our churches continue to make disciples and we continue to do what we can to come alongside them to serve them to help fulfill the Great Commission. One of the main ways we serve our church plants and our churches is through leadership development. Our last training time of the year was called “Issues that Can Sink Your Ship.” This conference was a really good one and well received. You can read more inside.

looking forward to 2014

Our first training of the year is called “Count the Cost” and we are inviting all pastors and church planters to this event. This development time will help all churches to develop a plan to reach goals. As we start planning for 2014 let us remember the need to develop a plan. There is an old saying that says, “Most people do not plan to fail, they fail to plan.” See the newsletter for all the details on how to be part of this time which will be a great help to you and your church in making a plan for the future.
