“Planting and Developing Prevailing Churches”  December 2015 Newsletter
February Chills
a year in review for 2015 – SWBA now has 30 churches

As we come to the end of 2015 I thought it would be wise to share with you about the progress that has take place in the Southern Wisconsin Baptist Association.   God has been very good and kind to all of our churches and to our church planting efforts.  By His grace we were able to see the birth of one new church in the Wisconsin Dells named Rock of Hope Church.  This church is being planted and led by Aaron Ramquist.

We also have seen three new churches come in the SWBA.  These three churches include Christ Fellowship Church of Sun Prairie, Cornerstone Church of Waterloo, and First Baptist Watertown.  As we move into the future we look forward to seeing how these new churches will partner with us in strategic ways to see new churches planted to transform lives for the glory of God.  With the addition of these four churches the SWBA now has 30 churches for the first time int the history of the association.   We praise God for His mercy and favor toward us!!!

partnership with salt lake baptist association
Another major step forward for us as an association is that our churches voted to begin a long term partnership with the churches of the Salt Lake Baptist Association.   Utah is a state whose statistics reveal they are an unreached people group with only two percent of the more than 3,000,000 people going to an evangelical church.   At the same time we have met many of their pastors and church planters who God is using in great ways to make disciples.  We look forward to partnership with these churches in the Salt Lake City region in the years to come.
our regular newsletter format will return in january

…merry Christmas and happy New year!!!

As we come to the end of 2015 I pray that the Lord will give you some time to reflect during the remaining days of this year.   We pray the good news of Jesus Christ with the redeeming power of the gospel will be at the center of all of our celebration this holiday season!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!
