On Saturday, November 3, the members of the Southern Wisconsin Baptist Association will be hearing a challenge from Terry Sharp of the International Mission Board to engage the ends of the earth. How might we engage the ends of the earth in missions? One way is to adopt Unengaged, Unreached People Groups (UUPGs). Terry will be sharing with us how we as churches can adopt UUPGs and engage our churches to be a part of the missions effort to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to people all around the world.
United Hmong Baptist Church in Sun Prairie will be our host for this annual meeting. United Hmong Baptist Church meets in the building of Living Water Church which is located at 3075 Prospect Drive in Sun Prairie. The schedule for the day will be as follows:
9:00 a.m – Refreshments and Registration
10:00 a.m. – Southern Wisconsin Baptist Association Executive Team Meeting
12:00 p.m. – Lunch
1:00 p.m. – Session with Terry Sharp on Engaging Unengaged, Unreached People Groups
3:00 p.m. – Dismiss
For this special event we encourage all of our churches to bring at least three people in addition to the pastor. This day has the potential to help move the missions movement forward in your church. Every church is a global strategy missions center where you can help make the difference.
