Generosity was the theme of the 48th Annual Meeting of the Southern Wisconsin Baptist Association.   The topic of Generous Churches was taught by Keith Dixon, Director of Missions for the Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association in Shelby, North Carolina.   Another special guest talking about giving was Glen Cosper, a long time development officer who is working with the Minnesota-Wisconsin Baptist Foundation.

Dixon shared with the SWBA Executive Team that generous people make generous churches who make generous communities.  Generosity covers far more that just the subject of money.   Dixon gave many examples of churches in his association that have been dramatically changed by teaching on generosity.  For more information about this subject you can go to http://www.generouschurch.com.

Many thanks goes to Pastor Julius Brent and his wife, Kula Brent, who served as very gracious hosts for the annual meeting.  Another very special guest was Marron Cassel, Ambassador of the Gospel as appointed by the President of Liberia.  Marron and Kula led in worship that blessed everyone in attendance.
