“Planting and Developing Prevailing Churches” July 2011 Newsletter
Updates from June
June has been a very productive month for churches in our association. We have seen five new summer missionaries arrive and start serving church plants in Madison. We have also seen numerous mission teams come from around the United States to minister in many of our churches and communities across our association. God is at work around us as we are seeing people come to Christ this summer, new bible studies starting, and much ministry taking place. In this newsletter we introduce you to our summer missionaries and share highlights from mission work that has taken place in June.
mimm mission opportunities in august mis
There are two mission opportunities that we would like to share with you in the month of August. First, we want to let you know about the upcoming event in La Crosse the weekend of August 5-6. We are helping the church plant for Hmong Mission Fellowship of La Crosse led by Nhia Yee Her. Three Rivers Fellowship Church is the mother church for this new work reaching Hmong people. See this newsletter how, when, and where you can join us on mission in La Crosse. Take note that even if you can not come you can help send school supplies. We look forward to seeing how God is going to use this weekend.

Second, Trinity Baptist Church of Reedsburg wants to invite you to a day of missions through their Touched Twice Clinic that will be held at Webb Junior High School on Saturday, August 13. They are looking for people who will share Christ verbally and also be a servant leader to the people in need who are coming for help. This clinic is designed to help meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the community. Please pray about being involved as a companion to help people for the day. If you sense God leading you to be part of the day contact Ward Utterback at 608-524-2751 or e-mail Ward at wdutterback@charter.net. You can receive training on the day of the event at 8:15 a.m. on how to be a companion. Touched Twice will take place at Webb Junior School which is located at 707 North Webb Drive in Reedsburg, WI 53959. Pray how the Lord might use you for a day of missions in Reedsburg.

people on mission trips from SWBA around the World
This month we have people from our church on mission around the world. Pastor Jeff Nettles from Rolling Hills Church in Platteville is on a mission trip in India preaching the gospel. Pastor Mark Hong of Campus Community Church is taking a team to East Asia for an exploratory trip. Ben Seamans is leading a group from Trinity Baptist Church to Mexico. Please be in prayer for these leaders and their teams this month.

We thank the Lord for the opportunities He gives us to be on mission here in Wisconsin and around the world. Thank you for your partnership in sharing the gospel.

In Christ,

Mark Millman

Church Planting Catalyst/Director of Missions
