SWBA Churches are Challenged to Reach Unreached People Groups

Terry Sharp of the IMB with Pastor Abraham Vang of United Hmong Baptist

At our annual meeting in November the churches of the Southern Wisconsin Baptist Association were challenged to pray for and embrace unengaged, unreached people groups (UUPGs).    These UUPGs are located all over the world but many of them are in difficult to reach places.    Terry Sharp of the International Mission Board was our presenter for the conference.   One strategy that has been working to embrace UUPGs is to find the people in these people groups in our local communities and reach out to them meeting needs and sharing the gospel.

Churches were also challenged to adopt a UUPG and let their church begin praying for a specific people group.  By praying many people groups around the world have begun to see the gospel come.   We are thankful the vision casting put forth by the International Mission Board and their invitation for us to join them.
