Join us to learn more about Wisconsin Tax-Exempt filing and tax withholding for non-profit organizations. Robert Kennedy and Rebecca Haines, from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, will be presenting information and will be available for questions. Lunch will be provided.
Robert Kennedy is currently a sales tax specialist with Administrative Technical Services Unit at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. He has been employed by the Department since 1992. Prior assignments with the Department include 5 years as a field auditor, 3 years assigned in field audit technical services, and 6 years as an office auditor in the farmland preservation credit unit.
He is a certified public accountant.
Becky Haines is a Revenue Tax Specialist in Customer Service Business Tax. She is responsible for dealing with inquiries from the public and department employees relating to Wisconsin sales and use tax, withholding tax, premier resort area tax and other business taxes.
Ms. Haines has worked for the department since June of 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. Prior to joining Customer Service Business Tax, Ms. Haines was a collection agent in the department’s Compliance Bureau.
